Both initial review and formal review will have to be conducted before each application can be approved. The initial reviews are conducted by the Energy Resources Laboratories of the Industrial Technology Research Institute on a year-round basis. The formal reviews are only conducted by the Energy Label Review Committee convened by the Energy Commission of MOEA every quarter, usually during the first month of each quarter (i.e., January, April, July and October).
