The revised Warm and Hot Water Dispenser Energy Conservation Label Energy Consumption Standard and Marking Method (announced on September 28, 2017 and became effective on March 1, 2018)
Revised Warm and Hot Water Dispenser Energy Conservation Label Energy Consumption Standards and Marking Methods

Neng-ji-zi No. 10605015190
Announced on September 28, 2017 and became effective on March 1, 2018.
1. The applicable scope, energy efficiency testing conditions and methods and energy efficiency standards for the application of warm and hot water dispenser energy conservation label verification should conform to the following regulations:
(1) Applicable scope:
Water dispenser products defined by the National Standards of the Republic of China (CNS) 13516-C4469.
(2) Energy consumption test conditions and testing methods:
The energy consumption of warm and hot water dispensers (standardized standby loss per 24 hours; Est,24) and its related performance testing conditions and testing methods should conform to CNS 13516. The energy consumption value should be calculated according to the following equation and be rounded up to the third decimal point:

Remark: E24 is the warm and hot water dispenser’s standby loss every 24 hours (kWh).
Th is the average water temperature (°C) during a 24hr period.
Tamb is the surrounding temperature (°C).
(3) Energy consumption standard:
The warm and hot water dispenser’s standardized standby loss (Est,24) measured value for every 24hr should be less than 105% of the marked value. The measured value and marked value also should not be higher than the energy consumption standard (E; kWh/day). The energy consumption standard calculation equation is as follows:
E = 0.111V+0.72
Remarks: V is the hot water storage tank capacity (liters; test according to CNS 13516 and rounded up to the first decimal point; the actual measured value should be higher than 95% of the marked value).
II. The following item should be noted for the aforementioned energy conservation label energy consumption marking:
(1) The label user’s name and address must be clearly indicated on the product or packaging.
(2) If the energy conservation label user is an agent, the manufacturer’s name and address should also be indicated on the product or package.
(3) The product catalog should indicate the product’s rated 24hr standardized standby loss (Est,24).
