Energy Conservation Labeling Program Requirements for Motorcycles
(Promulgated and in effect September 7, 2005)
1. Imported or domestically manufactured motorcycles shall meet the following Energy Label energy efficiency requirements as listed in Table below, determined in accordance with Nation Standard CNS 3105.

2. To demonstrate the compliance with requirements in Article 2 to Article 5, the applicant shall provide testing documentation issued by motor vehicle testing laboratories accredited by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) in ROC or governments in respective vehicle manufacturing countries.
3. Labeling of motor vehicles with Energy Label shall be conducted as follows:
(1)Logo and awarded certificate number for Energy Label shall be displayed on the product brochure or catalog;
(2)Measured average fuel consumption value shall be displayed on the product brochure or catalog;
(3)Measured average fuel consumption value for the labeled product shall be calculated to one decimal place with the second decimal place rounded-off.
