As different product models from the same manufacturer may have different energy efficiencies, the energy label is therefore issued to individual product model only, not to the manufacturing system or corporation as a whole. Thus, corporations can only affix energy labels on product models approved for use of the label. If new or modified models are used to replace the existing models, new application will have to be made and approved before the label can be used on new/modified models.
