Amended on 09/10/2016. Valid until 02/01/2017

I. The product application scope and energy efficiency required for applying for Energy Label Qualified High bay Luminaire, together with the relevant performance test conditions and methods, as well as the emergency efficiency criteria and other generalities shall meet the following requirements:
(I) Scope of Application:
1) Means the ordinary downward-projecting type of suspended or ceiling-mounted lamps that have been verified by this Office, and the rated total light flux should be over 4,000 lumen (lm).
2) It shall comply with the regulations specified in 14335 and 14115 of the Chinese National Standard (hereunder briefed as CNS).
(II) Test conditions and methods for energy efficiency and relevant performance:
1) The light distribution shall be tested in accordance with 70, 84 and 121 contained in CIE (International Commission on Illumination) and the interval of the test angle spacing required for curve measurement shall be less than 2.5 degrees.
2) Color Temperature and Color Rendering Index:
(1) High bay Luminaire using a Light Emitted Diode (briefed as LED) as its source shall be tested in accordance with the requirements specified in CNS15437: “Light Steel Frame Ceiling-mounted LED Lamps”.
(2) High bay Luminaire using fluorescent lamps with a built-in stabilizer as the source shall be tested in accordance with the requirements specified in CNS14125: “Built-in Stabilizer Fluorescent Tubes (for ordinary lighting)”.
(3) High bay Luminaire using fluorescent lamps as their source shall be tested in accordance with the requirements specified in CNS691: “Fluorescent Tubes (for ordinary lighting)”.
(4) High bay Luminaire using high-pressure sodium vapor lamps as their source shall be tested in accordance with the requirements specified in CNS15049: “High-pressure Sodium Vapor Tubes”.
(5) If a CNS standard is unavailable for the source of the patio light, then either of the national standards stated in the aforesaid (1) to (4) shall be selected for verification and then it will be quasi applied and tested.
(III) High bay Luminaire energy efficiency standard
1) The tested energy efficiency value shall be calculated according to the following formula. After being rounded off, the value shall be calculated to the first decimal place.
Tested Energy Efficiency Value (lm/W) = Tested Total Light Flux (lm) / Total Input Power (W)
2) The tested energy efficiency value shall be over 95% of the indicated value and shall meet the following requirements:
(1) Where the total light flux of the lamp is below 20,000lm, then it shall be over 110.0 (lm/W)
(2) Where the total light flux of the lamp is more than 20,000lm, then it shall be over 80.0 (lm/W)
(IV) Other generality requirements:
1) The tested total light flux (lm) shall be over 90% of the rated total light flux. After being rounded off, the tested total light flux value shall be calculated to the integral number.
2) The tested total input power shall be less than 110% of the rated total input power. After being rounded off, the tested power value shall be calculated to the first decimal place.
3) The tested power factor shall be over 0.90. After being rounded off, the tested power factor value shall be calculated to the second decimal place.
4) The tested lumen maintenance rate shall comply with the following requirements. After being rounded off, the lumen maintenance rate shall be calculated to the first decimal place.
(1) The LED lamp shall be tested for 1,000 hours and 3,000 hours respectively, and the resulting lumen maintenance rate value shall be over 97.0% and 95.0% respectively.
(2) Lamps other than LEDs shall be tested for 1,000 hours and 3,000 hours respectively, and the resulting lumen maintenance rate value shall be over 90.0% and 85.0% respectively.
II. The indication of the energy-saving mark shall meet the following requirements:
(I) The lamp body or the package shall be clearly marked with the user name and address.
(II) If the mark user is a distribution agent, then the name together with the address of the manufacturer shall be marked on the lamp body or the package.
(III) The lamp body or the package shall be clearly marked with the rating of temperature, color rendering index, light flux and energy efficiency for the lamp.
