Energy Conservation Labeling Program Requirements for Gas Stoves
(Promulgated and in effect February 24, 2006)

1.The Energy Label qualified gas stove products shall be tested under the test conditions and test procedures as specified in the CNS 13604, and the measured thermal efficiency value (ηt) shall be no less than 45.0%. 2. Notes on product labeling:
a. The name and address of the label user shall be clearly displayed on the product or product packaging;
b. If the label user is an agent, the name and address of the product manufacturer shall also be clearly displayed on the product or product packaging;
c. The product’s thermal efficiency value (ηt) shall be stated in the product catalog;
d. The product’s measured thermal efficiency value shall be calculated to one decimal place, with the second decimal place rounded-off.
