Fluorescent Lamps with embedded ballasts:

Energy Conservation Labeling Program Requirements for Fluorescent Lamps with embedded ballasts
(Promulgated and in effect October 21, 2005)

1.The Energy Label qualified fluorescent lamp products with embedded ballasts shall meet the requirements of CNS 14125, and the measured performance value shall be:
a.Luminous Efficacy >= 60 lm/W;
b.Average Color Rendering Index (CRI) >= 80;
c.2000-hr lumen maintenance > 85% (applicable to test reports prior to December 31, 2005), or 1000-hr lumen maintenance > 90% (applicable to test reports after January 1, 2006).

2. Notes on product labeling:
a. The name and address of the label user shall be clearly displayed on the product or product packaging;
b. If the label user is an agent, the name and address of the product manufacturer shall also be clearly displayed on the product or product packaging;
c. The luminous efficacy (lm/W) shall be stated in the product catalog;
d. The measured luminous efficacy value shall be calculated to integer with the first decimal place rounded-off.
